Kara & Kassidi

Kassidi was in town, so of course we got her and Kara together for some photos in the park. This was just a fun little shoot as the sun was going down. Not bad eh?

Kudos

At the risk of seeming immodest I share these encouraging comments from folks. It's very nice to be appreciated. Thank you all for your wonderful support over the years.

Hayli - before and after (sort of)

I'd been meaning to edit another image from Hayli's senior photo session so this afternoon I did. Later in the day, my friend Adam Devaney, a very talented graphic artist and film maker, was over and I invited him show me a few things on the computer. So, here's my photographic record of Hayli (which I think is already pretty nice) and Adam's interpretation (which I think is very very cool).

It was fun to invite Hayli and her mother to come by tonight and show them what we'd been up to. Adam is available to tweak my portraits; let me know if you want to be "tweaked". Hope that doesn't mean anything unsavory - I'm too old to keep up on what means what these days.

Future Brides

Here are a couple of variations on a theme from a recent wedding (Megan and Taylor). These girls were sitting outside taking in all the events and the grandeur and just talking like little adults.

Time to schedule your Holiday photo sessions.

Hello everyone, well, you-know-what is right around the corner. Yes, the Christmas holidays are coming and it's time to schedule a photo shoot in order to have your cards ready in time. Call or email me to schedule your family photo shoot. Scratch one thing off your list early.

Consider scheduling a family portrait and adding time for individual family members' portraits. The photos will work for your cards and for wall art as well.

I can design a card for you using your selected photos or you can select the image you want to make your own card. It's easy either way.

If you'd like to talk about a special holiday project or photo location, give me a shout. Flexibility is my middle name.

To get you in the mood, I've posted some sample cards I've designed from previous years. Go to www.bkbarnes.com/ChristmasCards/. Don't overlook the slideshow and full-screen buttons in the bottom right corner.

EOP

Had the pleasure of photographing the Two Wheel Jones gang as they rode out to EOP - a favorite local ride. Travis will be enlarging his store here pretty soon and we're going to use photos from recent shoots throughout the store.

Chelsea redividus

I'm switching from a PC to a Mac (I know, I can't believe it either) and am moving files around between machines. I came across these shots of Chelsea. It's a long story from a couple of years ago - we were in Las Vegas for a commercial shoot (that's the long part of the story) and I grabbed these more or less candid shots of Cheslea. Seeing them again, I remembered how pretty she was and how comfortable she was in front of the camera. She was a pleasant as she was attractive...

It's Realtor not Real-a-tor

Here are some head shots from a quick shoot this afternoon. Expect to see Todd and Aubrie's photos popping up all around town. I apologize in advance for the outtakes at the bottom. I told Aubrie that I was going to do it and she seemed like a good sport.
