Miss Megan is back in town

Here's one of my brides after three years up at BYU.  She and her husband are back in the desert and tonight she got reacquainted with my camera.  It's like they were never separated.

Lauren came to help with Emily and Jay's session tonight and along with McKenzie provided expert assistance.  You'd have thought the two of them had earned degrees in wrangling photo reflectors.  Lauren came over to the studio after the location shoot, so I rewarded (hassled ?) her with a few shots of her own.

Going through these proofs I picked another one for editing and posting. I wish you could see the subtle detail in the hair that I see on my color calibrated and profiled monitors.

Looking forward to Rebekah and Marc's wedding - should be fun.

Two Pears and a Whitney

At the temple shooting a wedding the other day I ran into these three beauties who graciously agreed to "smile for the camera". Keith was kind enough to get close to the girls and turn his white shirt into a field reflector. Thanks Keith - worked out well don't you think?

Rebekah

I'll be photographing Rebekah and Marc's wedding soon. We went out for a little get acquainted shoot recently and I'll be adding a few more photos here from that session. We ran in to some great light which Rebekah reflected wonderfully. As always, click to enlarge.

Sydney - 2010

Sydney graduates in a week or so. I've enjoyed knowing her and watching her grow into a beautiful young lady. She defines enthusiasm with her confidence and award-winning smile. Go get 'em Syd.

In July of last year, a couple of graduating seniors came by to help me sort out some new studio lights I'd just purchased. They were very kind to help out and I really appreciated it. Here are a couple of shots of Erica, a very pretty and, as I recall, a very mature and considerate young lady. Thanks Erica - we'll have to do this again.

More Cosette & Kelsey

Here are Cosette and Kelsey. They are so fun to shoot, so in to the work and very comfortable in front of the lens. These first three shots were done at ISO 3,200. If that means anything to you, you should be impressed with the hardware. If you don't know what that is, it ain't a big deal (well, it is to me).
