Knuckleheads

Here's a great little family.  I've photographed them before and just love their natural, Norman Rockwell like innocence and candor.  There's really only five "knuckleheads" in the family, but I'm sure their mother sometimes has this perspective between 3:00 and 5:00 each afternoon.

Candice is the mother of 8 children and this is a portrait of them playing in their backyard. There are only 8 different children in this photo - perhaps there is a dog in there as well.

Long Beach Baldwins

The Baldwins were back in town and while they were here we slipped away to grab some photos of this very handsome family. Here are a few from the session. If you know these Arizona expatriates, you'll be surprised at how much the kids have grown and how much mom & dad are still young and good looking - how do they do it?

Had some fun with the Jarvis family. I've done a few things with this family and always enjoy getting together with them. Here's a night shot - showing how dedicated they are in sticking with me until the bitter end of the night. After this they ran off to a church dinner, barely making it in time I'm sure.

Patterson's on the Prowl

Here's a family that I've gotten to know over the last couple of years. Some live here in Arizona and others in Utah. Here's the Pattersons, representing the Logan branch of the family. After photographing the extended family, Jim and Terri wanted to do something a little different. They were good sports and tolerated me finding the right exposure well after the sun had set. I really like the results. Not sure this will find a prominent place above their fireplace, but it is none-the-less quite an interesting photograph.
