Life flight
This helicopter landed in the back yard a little after an hour ago. Well, not right in the back yard, but in the retention basin behind the house. It was about 100 feet away. Unfortunately there was an accident at the intersection and this young lady needed to get to the hospital quickly apparently. Alaska Float planes
In Alaska to photograph the LDS Temple there, I had some time to kill. I went over to Lake Hood in Anchorage, the world's largest and busiest float plane base (I'm told). It was exciting watching them come and go. Here are some shots.
Yeah, I know this isn't a float plane, but it's so cool, I had to include it. Anyone know what this is? It looks Russian to me.
