Scout Camp

I was fortunate enough to be asked to go to scout camp this year up near Flagstaff. I'm going through the photos now and will post a few here over the next few days. Stay tuned.

Alyn McClure - Stake President

A well deserved rest at the end of a long day... Jeff Jacobson and his incredible crew fixed meals for 250 people or more. They were so well organized, you would have sworn the RS was involved somehow. Entrees included tri-tip steak, bbq chicken, smoked turkey, pork tenderloin among other delights. It was amazing to watch their well oiled machine churnin' out the chow.

Greg Greene, consummate scouter, very photogenic, all-around good guy.

Brody - ask him about this last tug-o-war. He won this trophy pocket knife.

Yeah, how'd I do it?

It occurred to me that some of you may not know what I look like. At camp last week there were lots of cameras. Someone slyly snapped me doin' my thing, so I thought I'd share this for the good blog-stalkers who I've never met. By the way, this IS my best side.

Alyn McClure - Stake President and peerless fisherman (in the scriptural sense, if you know what I mean, and I know that some of you do).

  1. Bruce, you've an amazing eye for the perfect picture! You were really able to capture the excitement of the Encampment, and as parents, we appreciate the memories!! Gracias.
