Thursday Night Football - pics of the game

The Cardinals played the Coyotes and on the other field it was the Eagles against the Six Shooters.  I'm growing to quite enjoy just watching these boys play.  Their full hearted efforts, intrepid bravery, and blossoming skills are a joy to behold.

I'll be hosting back to back 30-minute mini sessions designed to get your photos done and ready for your cards.  Here are the salient points in bullet mode.  I know you're busy so I'll just give you the facts.  Call or email if you would like to inquire or request something special.

• Photo shoot at a location close to the east valley
• Your proofs promptly placed on my web site for your review and selection
• Image(s) selected will be expertly edited and retouched
• Printing options
• I send you the image and you make your own prints or cards at the location of your choice
• I design card for you and send to your nearest Costco for your pickup (comes w/envelopes)
• You select a template for your photo and order cards & envelopes from my photo web site
• Enlargements & wall portraits available
• Convenient appointments afternoons and most weekends

Human nature being what it is, people generally put this off until the last minute.  As you know, it gets crazy around the holiday season, so please schedule ahead of time so I can guarantee your cards will be ready for mailing in time for Christmas.

Football Pic of the week - Six Shooters vs. Coyotes

Just love this shot; so much going on.  The fearless quarterback is totally focused on his fullback, Hamilton (#22) - just look at his eye peeking out from under his helmet.  The lineman, Stuart, is totally doing his job keeping that big Coyote out and pushing him away from the runner's hole in the line.  Hamilton, has his hands in the right spot to take the handoff; his feet have already started pushing off.  In the left corner you see the end starting to read the play and make his move toward the QB - too late.  The center, (you see his left leg on the right side of the image) is planting in and working on his lineman after his perfect snap.  Don't you just love watching these boys playing so seriously and well?  The QB's untied shoes belie that, after all, they're still just boys.

 Well, I'm still editing the photos from last weekend's games and this one from the Mighty Mites game just knocked me out.  Look at little Mlazgar there, busting through the line, eluding tacklers and high steppin' his way toward 6 points.  I don't think he actually scored on this play, but he sure scored some points for determination, grit and style.

Grace (Redivivus)

I've done 12 photo sessions in the last 7 days and have only today sat down to go through the images and get the workflow flowing.  However, my wife's little charge, Grace, came over today with a very cool new hair do.  I saw her and dropped everything to take her out in the back yard for an impromptu session.  She obliged me and rewarded me with her innocent, light-hearted litle smile and I started snappin'.  She called the session before I was done - seems she had plans to go to the park.  What could I do?  Here are a couple of images from our "shoot".

I met a nice lady the other day

A corporate photo shoot for a local technology company introduced me to Kathy.  She made me feel comfortable and was very helpful in setting up for the shoot.  I twisted her arm (almost literally) to get her to come in for a couple of test shots before the execs came in.  Here she is - she wasn't expecting to have her photo taken; she looks this good all the time.  I know women have the hardest time liking photos of themselves.  This one is shows her gentleness and beauty.  It's a good one Kathy!

Big day - Rebekah and Marc

You just really like this couple the more you're around them.  Marc is a certified gentleman, intelligent, concerned, polite, confident.  Rebekah is a wonderful mix of classic beauty, tender romantic and tell it like it is honest.  Here are a couple of photos from their wedding last night.
