Miss Megan is back in town

Here's one of my brides after three years up at BYU.  She and her husband are back in the desert and tonight she got reacquainted with my camera.  It's like they were never separated.

Corporate Big Shot

Alisha is the President and CEO of her residential interior design company.  A while ago I photographed her and the staff and have photographed some of her homes.  I've always liked this photo of her which was taken in the office of her corporate headquarters.  You ought to check out her web site - www.ibdstudio.net.

Those Greenes - gotta love 'em

During the Greene's photo session for their cards, this photo was produced.  It begs some close inspection; take a minute and linger over it, I think you may come to like it as much as I do, especially if you know this happy couple.  If you don't, you'll want to.

The first one, the black and white version is my favorite.  I include a color version for those who have not yet developed an affection for and appreciation of the abstract and interpretive.  There are many subtleties here that will be missed if your monitor has been subjectively twiddled and tweaked.  If you are bold, call me and I'll come calibrate your monitor.  Chocolate-chip cookies gratefully accepted.

As always, click to enlarge...

Young Beauty

Here's Shelby - the daughter of some good friends.  We did their Christmas card photos this afternoon, so I won't be stealing their thunder with the cards, but I couldn't resist posting this photo of a very pretty and well-mannered young lady.

Lusia -

Going through Luisa and Buck's images today I spotted one that I'd overlooked before.  Duh, she's absolutely gorgeous in this shot - what was I thinking.  Here she is.

Nikki - the girl with the Look

I participated in a photo shoot for a makeup magazine out of Utah back in February of 2007.  I never saw the outcome - dang.  However, I did meet Nikki at that shoot.  She was very professional and always gave me a great look; ever the same thing twice in a row - always working it and refining the look.  It's Nikki I remember when I coach girls on how to pose for portraits.

This shot is only slightly edited and not cropped, it's pretty much how it came out of the camera.

Scarlett Renee

Welcome this little girl to the world.  She made her grand entrance on Saturday November 27 and here she is, a whole 5 days old.  She's a beauty, taking the best from each of her talented and attractive parents.  Too soon to tell which one she favors more, but we did discover that she has inherited her father's "Elf ear".

Here are the photos that have been selected by the models that worked the recent Grand Opening of Hair-Do Salon now in Dana Park in Mesa.

Here is Emilou - I understand that she's just 14.  Update:
I'm now told that she is only 12.

Calissa - she has those eyes.

Young Calissa is quite comfortable in front of the camera, as you can tell.  It was nice to get with Greg and Crissy again to catch up a little and see how the kids have grown.  You'll have to wait to see the family photos, but I just couldn't resist sharing these two.

Hair-Do Grand Opening

The Hair-Do Salon in Mesa had their grand opening today.  The event was celebrated with a fashion show in the parking lot, along with free food, massages, and beverages.  The models were all beautiful and talented.  The hair was incredible - you need to check these guys out - just Google them in Mesa AZ

I was pleased to have a small role - I was able to photograph these beautiful girls in between the shows.  There were a LOT of girls and a TON of photos - all great (sorry, it's the girls that made them great, not so much the photographer).  Here are just a few from the collection.  More to come I'm sure.
